Repeat Prescriptions

pills_and_handRepeat prescription requests are not taken over the telephone, for medico-legal reasons, as errors can occur in verbal communication.

Please do not ask the doctor to issue repeat prescriptions during a routine consultation; it may only take an extra minute, but over the course of the day that adds up to an extra five spare appointments.

Please use the computerised repeat prescription slip where possible.

We will endeavour to turn round requests for prescriptions within 48 hours.

If there is more than one repeat prescription, please try to order all items together.

Please indicate (with a tick or cross) which items are required.  Post or deliver the request to the surgery.

The prescription can be sent to your home address, but for this please remember to enclose a stamped addressed envelope. It can also be collected from the surgery.

Some pharmacies have offered to collect prescriptions.
